An inescapable part of everyday life in Brazil are the favelas (slums or shantytowns). These pockets of poverty provide opportunities for partnership service projects with exuberant Brazilian families who become our guides and teachers.

Our destination is Recife, a large coastal city named for the coral reefs that surround it. You can work with favela children through recreation and literacy programs, work with troubled youth through a local social service agency, help build an addition to a church or community center, or use your gifts to assist in a Brazilian worship service.
