"...What a trip!  Completely selfless people...I could easily stay for six months.  It feels right.  I hope I never look at my life with such pessimism again.  This truly was a Transformational Journey!"
Denise DiPiazzo (right)
Architect, Heinlein+Schrock, Kansas City, MO

Individuals and family groups join with others from diverse places and backgrounds to form a travel group of 12-25 persons.  They find their common ground as they experience a new culture "close-up" and work together in  humanitarian service projects.  Meaningful, lasting friendships often grow from these groups.

If you can recruit 12 or more from your church, school, work place, or organization, we can arrange a trip that is unique to the personality and interests of your group.  We require a minimum of three months lead time on these custom-designed trips.

Our destinations in Brazil,  Guatemala,  Dominican Republic and Kenya provide a wide range of cultural and service-learning opportunities.  Your group may be involved in:

(1) helping build a school, clinic, church, or community center;

(2) teaching, mentoring, or caring for children;

(3) leading recreation and sports activities for youth or children;

(4) assisting with much needed health-care services such as medical and dental clinics;

(5) leading creative music, drama, or dance workshops;

(6) assisting in religious or festive events.

"My experience in Brazil taught me the priceless value of opening your arms and your heart to others. I discovered a world of joy and happiness in people who quickly became my extended family.  And in myself I discovered a simpler, more peaceful spirit."
